For everyone Worried/Complaining about LAG and DELAYS on the Storm should know

you should know that the review and launch units we launched with an older software version, 4.7.0.65 at the last minute due to the discovery of a security issue in RIM's already created and smooth working OS v 4.7.0.82.

That OS is the latest and was already working with much faster and smoother performance. RIM has said a free OTA software update (presumably the secure corrected 4.7.0.82) which should fix the issue.

THE ONLY DELAY IS GONNA BE THE RETURN LINE WHEN YOU GO BACK TO THE STORE. CURVE 4 LIFE!!!!!

yeah or if you dont want to wait for the new software then return it. this is the joys of early adopting. you sometimes get a new product and its not yet 100% where it should be.

There was no 4.7.0.82 software, it was just a mis-print on the box. And that comes straight from the horse's mouth.

Yup, I have heard the same thing. There is also no impending update coming anytime soon. That is also a rumor based on a lie.
