Reviews of the Storm
It's amazing how this happens everytime a new phone comes out! So the Storm doesn't do a few things perfect! I could care less about the petty reviews so far. Most users today could give a rats ass about many of the features. What is important is that it makes calls first( lets not forget this). Yeah, the Iphone has probably a nicer touch screen with icons that are basically useless. The Storm has good call quality on a solid network! This is huge folks! The data network puts the AT&T data network to shame, this is huge folks! It's a blackberry, not a toy first. Why the early reviewers forget about the simple basics is one of the reasons I don't post anymore( or hardly anymore) on Howards or Phonescoop. Get real folks, the Storm w...

Where I live Verizon has horrible coverage and spotty call quality. I'm looking at it now and the LG Dare on my desk has one bar. It can't even make a steady call. AT&T's network has full coverage. There are areas where AT&T probably has bad coverage, but that isn't anywhere I've been.

1 bar on CDMA is plenty of signal... You cant make a call on 1 bar of CMDA??? Very Odd... Its easy to shoot down any device & at the same time, VZ offers a 30 test drive ( as do most carriers) to insure YOU are happy so dont get too wrapped up in any reviews from so called blind tests... I for one think the review on this site aligned well with my use of the unit.

With CDMA you can usually do fine with 1-2 bars, but I can't place a call without going outside.

she was coming from the CDMA side of things. She hates me now for letting her get an iphone. She doesn't just drop calls she doesn't get them 80% of the time. 1 bar of CDMA is like 4 of GSM. If you live in a metropolitan area then this may not matter but for the rest of us GSM is worthless.

Yea, when i had my iPhone, i WOULD ALWAYS get the "Network Busy" icon thing, and the call lost thing.
and my voice mail thing would just ring when my phone didnt.
When at&t came in, things went from great to poor.
AT&T keeps digging a bigger hole too.
