how is this news worthy???? That's the biggest "like, duh" statement I've read in awhile. What cell company ISN'T considering this approach, now that the iPhone is cheaper? LIKE, DUH!

If I were the head of a big cell phone manufacturer, I sure as hell wouldn't. And the iPhone isn't a big success. It sold well for the fist 3 days. Now people just come in to play with it and then buy something different. And I, personally, am glad and hope Apple takes this kick in the groin into consideration.

yeah, I'm sure apple took a kick to the groin. They were the ones kicking the first two months the iPhone was out. Charging $600. Don't be daft. Touch screen is becoming better of a technology, and will soon be adapted into MOST smartphones. (Not all. Some people, like YOU don't seem to care.)

Once again, Apple didn't invent the touch screen. I've had a touchscreened phone since the Audiovox Thera.
