About Time for HP
About Time HP came out with something new! These phones look good, but NOT ground breaking! They look like copies of HTC or RIM products. The HP phones I have had in the past were always a bit buggey! That could have been due to the old windows platform of the time!
So which US carrier will get them? They all seem to be a GSM format, so maybe AT&T or TMobile?
...
Well, they both support HSDPA, so that equals AT&T.
There's no telling if the phones are actually going to be carried by AT&T though.
...
wouldn't doubt it since at&t loves to keep its line up full of high end smartphones. Especially WM. Doubtful if they carry both.
...
The press release on hp's website also mentions UMTS capabilities on both handsets, so us T-mo fans might get lucky.
...
As T-Mo subscribers we should hold our enthusiasm until one of these phones is listed with the 1700 band.
...
Wouldn't doubt if those phones come out of HTC's factory.
...
You could be right! It seems to be that HTC is the master designer or builder for about 75% for the smartphones on the market! I'm guessing at the % ratio! I think the 510 model will be a strong canidate for Tmobile! It is the one with the WiFi calling system! It looks like a good replacement for the Tmobile SDA! That is not a bad phone at all!

Yeah it's about time MOTO got their balls back and created some new phones. I like the fact that they put the touch screen on the 910 and 610 with the keys still out instead of a slider. thats what i been waiting for. I used to be a MOTO fan big time but they fell off the grid always redoing the razr. I swear it's like apple's ipod "what kind of razr are you?". I am betting at&t will get these phones, and T-MO will get the 510 since it has wifi calling.
...
I have both, so I'm covered either way.
