Verizon Bows Plan for Over 65 Set
wow
sprint basic 200, 200 day minutes and UNLIMITED n/w minutes for $29.99/month
and our family plan has them beat as well.
Most of the older people I know still wouldn't come close to that.

Of course you'd say that...your profile says you're a Cingular employee.

that has nothing to do with it. the plan sucks. period. i didn't mention my preferred carrier because i didn't want to turn this into a "fanboy" war. i was just stating my opinion.

from the at&t fan boy...
we've had those plans for the past two months as well, but we didn't need to announce it to the whole world....
oh ad coolest phone edge goes to at&t...
and HSUPA and HSPA will be far better in the long scheme of thins than wimax will ever be(just had to give you a gut check...lol)

i guess that HSUPA and HSPA will be better than wimax when it starts to work, i guess when that starts, sprint will have something better than wimax... lol you are just talking about future plans, but sprint is already making it reality
HSPA's theoretical speed is up to 8 - 10 Mbits, with real world capabilities UP TO 3.6
WiMax's theoretical speed is up to 76 mbps, with real world speeds averaging 15 or more mbps.
WiMax will be deployed in 98% of the population by 2009, and hspa is looking at that coverage by 2011.
Seems that everything is leaning towards wimax technology leading the way here.
Sprint has this working NOW in two test markets, and will have 50% of the population covered in less than 15 months.
Not a "fan boy" post, just a few facts...
whose to say that it wont actually reach that since i get speeds of 3.2, 3.3, 3.1 all the time with the HSDPA that is currently deployed.
300 mins, unlimited weekends - $29.99
Family Plan, 1000 mins - $49.99
or
700 mins, unlimited n/w, M2m - $59.99
I still don't understand why anyone likes Verizon......
Personally I don't have a land line, I was jut saying some people do.
these are the people who will actually care about the plan and how much theyre paying for a service theyre not even using all of the time
on that note, both tmo and especially sprint kick the crap out of verizon
oh yeah .. so do most pay-as-you-go plans
tmo prepaid ftw
nice try
it does seem though verizon is lacking that unlimited feature. it is pretty standard to atleast have unlimited m2m or night or weekends.
Or another "theory"... the largest selection of 3G phones... but wait, you're a T-Mobile fanboy, you wouldn't know what 3G is đ¤Ŗ
plus this plan is free of the BS sprint network and terrible customer service.
