phones do not equal game controllers
i think that is one thing they did right with the Ngage. say what you want about how fugly they both were, but the ngage series were the best gaming phones from an input standpoint. not even the n95 has buttons on both sides of the screen (that are accessible at the same time). full qwerty's will probably work best with this, since qwerty phones are meant to be used with two hands.

Yeah, I'm not sure how exactly this is supposed to work. I'm curious to see which handsets will be compatible. QWERTY would make the most sense, but then that would limit this to the E-Series. Isn't the N-Series the multimedia line (which I would assume covers gaming as well)?

you're right. phones are not game controller. but from what i know about this latest attempt, many of the games will use new control schemes that don't require separate direction and action controls. or if they do, they've taken how the game will be played on the phone into account. at least that's what has been hinted to me for a year or so.
digital chocolate seems to be leading the way in games like this.
