How much was the v710 when it first came out, I think they charged that much also. I have to make sure all the bugs are worked bout before i spend #300. Have to make sure the batt life is good

No, that would be the followup to the V710, the E815. The V710 and E815 were the only Motorola CDMA phones to feature an 18-bit color display; most new Motorola CDMA phones only feature 16-bit color displays.

That's strange, that's going backwards!!! Going from 18-bit to 16-bit color screens!!!
I keep wondering when VGA displays are going to start coming out on mobile phones in the U.S., maybe Spring time, or Summer next year.

Gosh, it seems as though the it's been such, such a long time since the E815 has been out, it really does!!!

The V710 was so ahead of it's time. I remember when it first came out, I was totally in awe. Had a few things over my AT&T Wireless V600, but I sure am glad I went with AT&T now.

I just looked up the V710's specs just to refresh my memory, and this phone proves to me that Moto definetly seems to be going backwards, I say this because if Moto continued forward with this line of model of the V series, right now in the 3rd qtr of 2007 there would've been a really awesome version of the V710.

I'm with ATT also by the way, I've been with Cingular since January of '02, only carrier I've ever been with actually.
