This article might be misleading you a bit. It isn't like you will be able to access someones storage by just bringing your phone near it. For data access there will still be authorization required before the other device will have access to any services. Also, the elimination of the passkey does not mean that the link will no longer be encrypted. Basically, it is left up to the product developers to produce an interface that will make it easy for the user to understand what requests are being made and what they might be giving access to. If that is done properly, this should be a great user experience for all aspects of Bluetooth.
