What does it take to signup with Prexar Mobile?
Call Prexar Mobile today or sign up online now. You will need to provide the following information: Name, Address, Amp'd Mobile Number, Amp'd Account Number, Amp'd Password or Pin (If Applicable), Daytime Contact Number (alternate to cell if possible), Social Security Number, ESN/HEX/MEID (this can be found underneath the battery on your wireless phone).

The "news" is that unlike any other carrier, they will allow you to continue to use your Amp'd handset.

Seriously. A cell company wants to acquire customers from a now defunct company? Really? Hmmm, could they be called..."Every phone company out there"? Why would customers choose this no-name company over a "real" one? The reality is that Amp'd customers can go ANYWHERE! They just need new phones, which is what it sounds like this new company needs also...
