Review: HTC G1

Re: G1 is the best HANDS DOWN
No Video Recording.
No A2DP.
No Camera Flash.
No Bluetooth API.
No Modem Tethering.
-------------------------------------
No Standalone 3.5mm Headphone Jack.
No DRM Music Support.
It sounds like I'm bashing the G1, but I'm not. I really like the G1 a lot. This is coming from a guy who has used a XDA EXEC for the last 3 years! (That is the greatest phone is the world to me! Now the HTC Touch Pro is extremely close, and it has only two flaws: no 3.5mm jack, and yes, no "Android-type" market.)
Anyway, even though the list about sounds pretty bad, the iPhone 3g has NONE of them except the last two items AND DOES NOT HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
No "Cut and Paste".
No MMS (this is really unbelievable).
No Voice Dialing (again, unbelievable).
No Vanity Mirror (for its 2.0 MP sad camera).
No Zoom (for its 2.0 MP terrible camera).
No Mini-USB Port (an indusry standard).
No Removable Battery.
AND
No Storage Port.
So, this bottom list WITH the top list should show that the iPhone really stinks.
Now Apple did do something right: they changed the industry by pushing the envelope so far with the creation of the iPhone. But as you should now clearly see, the G1 is the better phone! Hopefully, the "Market" can provide the tethering, A2DP, video capture, Bluetooth API, and DRM music support with major firmware updates! Slightly raising the keys and widening the spacebar ever so slightly will be hopeful physical changes in the G2! As well as giving us a 3.5mm jack instead of requiring us to get stupid-looking y-adapters!
Very lengthly, I know...but true in every sense!
