landlines still exist?

this is at&t's scheming way to get landline customers onto their most expensive All Distance home phone service, and guess what? lets say you can afford to make only one of your phone bills on time, well with this combined billing crap, if you late on one, you lose both. how profound. i definatly call bullshoot on this one!

if your bills are combined, then you recieve "one" bill, therefore you can't be late on one bill.... you recieve them as one bill to pay at once..
