I've had this phone since August and i haven't had any issues with the keypad cracking, I actually bought my wife the w580i in may and it hasn't had any keypad cracking issue either 
.
On another note... the screen on my w760i has malfunctioned out of nowhere, here's what happend:
I made a call it lasted about 2minutes, i closed the slide, then opened it back up to make another call and bam my screen is all messed up, it looks as if is cracked but there is no sign of damage on the exterior of the phone. Very wierd
, I did get a square trade warranty on it when I got it, but went through the 1 year manufacturers warantee instead. SE tried to tell me that they couldn't rma the phone initially because it wasn't set to be released in the US market yet. I had to prove I bought it from a US vendor b4 they would rma it. It is now in transit to their rma repair facility via DHL, I've been given a projected 2 week return window once received by them that is.
Other than that i love the phone, IMHO the w580i's ringtone speaker is louder than this one, a little bit of a let down. The screen is bigger than the w580i's.
The one thing i really can't stand is that the themes u put on the phone do not change the menu unless they came packaged with the phone, the BG image changes and the colors within the menu's change to reflect the theme but the actual icons and how they are highlighted on the main menu don't change at all. This was one of the main perks I bought this phone for and it was a big let down.
I might do a review of this thing but that'll be once i recieve my repaired model.
in the mean time if anyone has any specific questions I'd be willing to lend my experience with it to answer them.
