I wish they'd get more specific with what this will do for phone users in the US. It's nice to see that samsung is progressing in all areas! The SSD is already ready for near future products.

my understanding of this will allow you to watch local analog broadcasts on your cell phone. kinda like rabit ears on your tv would.

Actually, Verizon already offers broadcast Mobile TV in addition to their recorded content on VCast service. It is only available on 2 phones right now and only in select markets, but they are releasing it.

Sprint offers more channels and radio stations with thier service. Its also cheaper and has a larger digital service than Verizon. Cheaper downloads $.99 for full songs and you get two copies. VCast sucks! Also you get full length PPV movies with Sprint! I'd like to see if they integrate it with all phones and carriers??

Sprints and VZWs TV service is apples and oranges noob.
Sprints TV you is EV-DO based, which means downloading and buffering, and only displays at 15 frames per second.
VZW's MedioFLO based TV is actually live over the air TV with NO buffering and INSTANT channel changing, and displays at 30 frames per second.

the MediaFLO only applies to clips and not live tv. When doing live tv, it must transfer over VZW's own EV-DO.

WRONG.
MediaFLO applied to VZW's V CAST TV service, a live, over the air broadcast using Qualcomm's towers, it has NOTHING to do with EV-DO.
