To be honest, EDGE is not that bad. It is FINE when surfing the net on the phone. I think the only thing EDGE can't compete with is broadband cards. Where we don't have UMTS to compliment our EDGE, CDMA carriers with EV-DO will beat us out on that.

But I'll tell you what, you can bet your sweet little behind that I'd take EDGE over 1xRTT data any day!
