ya know there are some people that just want a basic phone

Jeez get all over the fact that this has no features, some people just want a PHONE,
not a radio, not an mp3 player or camera
just a phone
why pay for more features when you dont use them

I agree, not having a speakerphone or bluetooth is just wrong, and these Asian guys will NEVER really break through, no matter how low the price. The only carriers that will buy this would be the flat rate ones like Metro, Crickett, Revol, etc...you will never see a Verizon or ATT carrying a Chinese ODM. Yeah, they will carry the Pantech line or some other Korean based line, but Chinese, dont think so...maybe I am wrong here.

Y not?...practically everything we use is made in china. What do you have to base your assumption on besides a bias against asian companies ("these Asian guys"). Give reasons to support your statements so God forbid you don't sound dumb!

yeah but they could've at least put in a speakerphone. that's one of the most basic features.

Agreed. My wife doesnt know how to use any features but dial her phone. She doesnt even know how to read text messages. I should have saved some money and bought a Huawei.
