Browser Bugs "Achilles Heel"
I read the hands on review, which was well done and thought out. I will be in line to get this phone when it comes out. I am very much looking forward to using the phone as an internet tool. Does anyone know or can keep a thread updating any fixes to this issue going forward? It would be a shame for this one major flaw to ruin what is otherwise a perfect phone to have. Thanks!

I hope it will not be yet another case of great hardware; lousy software...like with the G1 Android phone.
Apple is getting lazy sitting on their butts with a software/hardware platform that is getting long in the tooth, but ironically, still cutting edge. Hopefully this will drum up competition as nobody else has brought anything else worth its salt to the table...until perhaps now.
Apple also completely threw away the enterprise market. Blackberry has the potential ability to fill in that market gap once again with both a business-centric device and cutting edge phone.
BUT...if the browser sucks and the UI lacks the fluid movement and usability of the iphone...they will have failed.

Don't judge a phone by its browser. The RIM browser is improved, yes, but currently for my Curve I use Opera mini and we are weeks away from the mobile Firefox browser. Browsing is a simple fix with 3rd party software.

A clunky browser hints at the rest of the UI being clunky as well.
I guess we'll see.
