I know the stainless steel/blue edition is in fact stainless steel, but is the green/black edition metal? I sure hope so...

Personally, I like the blue one a real lot. Even though green is my favorite color, I like that tone of blue. 😁 😁 😁

The blue's not bad, but the silver trim makes it look cheap IMO. I just wish the back of the black/green was matte, like the K810i. It would've detracted from attracting fingerprints/hairline scratches. We'll all have to wait for ShieldZone to release a protector for it. If you haven't checked them out, I suggest doing so, their covers are literally invisible once you have them on.

Actually, I think the silver trim is stylish.

Yeah, thanks I'll "Google" ShieldZone's website.

Is it a sticker, or rubber that molds to the shape of the handset?

I'm guessing this handset isn't going to retail for any less than $499 when it comes out.

I'm sure it'll be more, but will drop to the $450-550 range in the first few months. ShieldZone makes a protector that's applied by getting it damp, applying it, and using a credit card to remove airbubbles. You let it sit for about an hour or two, and when it's dry, you *literally* cannot tell it is there. It's fabulous. Kept my iPod looking pefect for over a year, and I always just throw it in my backpack. And you KNOW how bad iPods look when they haven't been in a case! (No case for me - just the ShieldZone protector). Haha - I sould like an advertisement, but they really are awesome.

Kinda sounds like one of those teeth whitening things, you know what I'm talking about? Where it goes under hot water, then molds to your teeth, that's what it sounds like to me.

I've never been a fan of the plastic or skin cases. I prefer to keep my phones in an iPod sock. I do the same thing for my cameras.

Sock? Iew... The entire reason I use invisible plastic layovers is because they're IMPOSSIBLE to see and yet provide perfect scratch protection. I hate the added bulk of cases and big protectors... :X

I do not like big/bulky cases either but I consider the iPod sock pretty slim, not as slim as what you use but still not as bad as this bulky cases and clips manufacturers make for their phones.
