Forget the initial price...
I think what people will hate most is their bill when they get it, for the service + WiFi, bills will be close to $100 a month, $500 for a phone isn't nearly as much as $1200 a year for service...and of coarse there will be the many who buy it, then somehow are surprized that internet costs extra...

Well for starters, wifi doesn't cost anything. You can get a media plan for $19/month, so where are you getting $100/month in extra charges? 😕

I just called AT&T, they will have a $40 add-on, not that Smartphone plan. You didn't think they would ley you slide with just a $20 add-on, did you? Hahaha...
Anyway, $40 plus $40 plus taxes will be like $90, so I'm sorry for exaggerating, it will be $1080 a year, not $1200, how irresponsible of me to have inflated the numbers...unless you add insurance and download stuff...

Att will not insure the iphone as it is classified as a pda! 😲 plus Batteries are not covered under waranty 😲 so if the battery went out you would also have to pay apple to open and replace your battery...which i am sure will bring it over $1200 For the year.

Right. Because the iPod has a similar battery setup and you can't buy iPod batteries for under $30 with DIY kits so the iPhone will have it's battery sell for 20x the iPod battery. 🙄
FWIW, My iPod gets used EVERY day and the battery is still going strong after 2 1/2 years. It's only *starting* to show signs of needing a replacement in the future.
