NO 3G data on iphone = SO WHAT !!!
I dont really get whats all the fuss about the iPhone not having 3g data speeds. The iPhone has WiFi, what else do you need? You can customize the phone to your liking, add you own music, pictures, movies ect. without paying a dime. What is it? you want to surf the web while waiting for the bus ? At a park? Come on please, Almost everywhere I go theres a WiFi hot spot, and dont forget about peoples apartments with open networks 🙂 Me personally, Im not getting no data plans, cause I dont need it. I wont pay for music or themes or wallpapers or what ever AT&T want to sell me. Why ??? Because APPLE is releasing a software developers kit for the iPhone baby !!!! GHEA GHEA

Yes, I understand your point. So do many thousands of other apple enthusiasts that will be sitting next to you as you camp out waiting for the store to open. But being able to develop, carry music, video, etc. are nothing new (see Symbian and Windows Mobile platforms).
Personally I don't "pay for music or themes or wallpapers" either. I download them myself to my phone via bluetooth or connection cable. What I do pay for is the unlimited data plan, because I surf the web on my phone allot. And I use it as a backup connection to the web (over bluetooth or cable connection).
Some people use their cell phone as a high speed internet connection for the car computer. I personally use my phone allot in places that I don't have wifi hots...

You made some really valid points. I guess its up to the Pro-sumer. From the people that I spoke to, desides myself. I've been waiting for a all in one device. Besides the no 3g support everything else can be added through software updates.

Hey dude. Sounds like the iPhone isnt for you. And thats ok. It sounds like youre obviously more concerned with using it for the web, which the iPhone can do, but it doesnt sound like you're too jazzed about the other features. So the blackjack is probably right up your alley... and for free even!
