no - not yet..
Chapter 11 is just a reorganization that allows them protection for debt. Many companies emerge from chapter 11.

Chapter 7 is a *real* bankruptcy that could include liquidation.

Yep thats true, many companies go through Chapter 11 at some point.

Just check out the airline industry. If I can recall, all or most of them filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and they are most or all out of it. You can see that it did not affect customers. All it does to the company is to save money, legally cut certain expenses, and get rid of a portion of the debt.
