RIM To Launch Cellular / Wi-Fi Blackberry
RIM is AWESOME
If RIM would couple this with some of the other features they are venturing into, such as cameras, I would go for this.
Potentially, you could get a BB with Wifi, possibly even able to make VoIP calls, in addition to traditional BB features, software, being able to load memory cards, a camera...I would be able to get rid of my Palm Pilot, and I could use that instead of my Discman or MP3 player.
This would also be great to access my company's intranet while I'm in the office, something I could never do over any cellular network's data services. Couple that with VoIP calls on wifi networks, and we have a winner! Companies could also set up a secure connection over wifi so the phones they may need to provide for their employees won't...
