I have two a640s. The phones are perfect entry level phones and a great value at $179. Great battery life, and the rf is comparable to any highend phone I've used (m610, fusic, a920). it surely kills any entry level junk from Sanyo.

The same thing was said about the a650, which turned out to be one of the best phones I've ever owned...simple and bulletproof.

No it was a mass produced problem with the indicator light placement. The 650 and 670 both had this problem, not just me.
