Do these phones have iTAP?

None of the Motorola spec pages for the V8, V9 and V9m mention if these phones have iTAP. I'm a big fan of iTAP so I was wondering if this phone has it and if so, what version? I think the latest version is 6.3.

That's actually not true. Pure iDEN phones from Motorola such as the i880 have T9. I also believe the Sprint version of the K1m has T9.

I agree that these phones will probably have iTAP but I wanted to confirm because of the new JUIX based firmware.

iTAP is NOT Motorola's name for T9. iTAP and T9 are very different. For one thing, iTAP (on a phone with the Motorola user interface) starts to guess words as you type and puts the rest of the guess word in grey to the right of the cursor. All you need to do is hit the up arrow to select the guessed word. As you're typing tt also displays word choices on the bottom of the screen based on the combination of keys that you've type.

Here are a couple of links that described the differences.
