The 700p is so freakin' buggy though! I think this edition (755p) will work out some of the kinks that users dealt with on the 700p.

No rev A, but definetly alot lighter and internal antenna. Ofcoarse if you dont care about those two things you dont have to switch from your current 700p. PPC 6800 suppose to be launched this month as well but got delayed till aug or so, just for the fact it will have windows 6.0 and rev a capabalities. So i am gonna hold on for now and wait for that.

I have a question, to those of you who are with Verizon, is it true that when your 2yr is up, you HAVE TO upgrade, and can't wait a few more months for a perticular device to come out?

I'm not sure about now, but back when I was with Verizon, everything required a 2 year "upgrade". I remember wanting to change my plan from a $40 to a $70 plan about 2 months before my contract up, and they would require me to renew for an additional 2 years just to pay more!

I swear that's such a bunch of crap, it really is, I've been with Cingular for over 5yrs, I can change my rate plan any time, plus I haven't even been under contract since Oct.30 2005, I'm being patient right now waiting for something really, really innovative, sophisticated, and exciting.

you dont have to upgrade at the 2 year mark. you can upgrade at 22 months to whenever... heck, i've seen people still carrying StarTacs...

With reguards to that Star Tac crap, Low-Tek people piss me off 👿 They don't even know that they don't need calculators, or alarm clocks anymore, it's all built in to the mobile phone, even a music player, I haven't worn a watch in over 5yrs, nor have I owned an alarm clock in over 5yrs!!!

Low-Tek people piss me off.

No, you can upgrade as soon as you get to your 2 yr upgrade date. It add 2 yrs on to your contract. EX: You have no contract after a yr as soon as you upgrade 2yr contract begins.
