the watch IS water resistant ; please correct
The user manual we read states clearly that the watch is not water resistant.
...
ok, even if it WAS water resistant, what kind of phone call would you make from underwater?
hello?
- "glug glug"
what?
- "glug glug glug"
is this a prank call?
- "glug glug gargle" *click*
...
Then how come the website (http://www.mymobilewatch.com/watch_specifica tion.php) says the following:
The water-resistant M500 works on GSM Quadband frequencies which are 850Mhz, 900Mhz, 1800Mhz and 1900Mhz. This allows any individual who has a GSM SIM card to use the M500 in any country around the world. The M500 has a built-in MP3 and MP4 player, Voice Bluetooth, Data Bluetooth, Flash Memory, 128MB standard memory, plus supports T-Flash card and U Disk functionality for all JM2E applications. TFT Touchscreen is the biggest advantage of this unique device.

Thanks for this additional input. Again, according to the user manual on the FCC site, the watch we wrote about is a tri-band GSM, not quad-band, does not have a TFT screen, and it says "watch is not water resistant and must be kept dry." Lastly, the watch we saw on the FCC site doesn't look like the watch you linked to, either. I think we're talking about two different products here.
