T-Mobile already does this... but less expensively

T-Mobile has offered unlimited messaging for $14.99 over a year at this point; not only that, they've got unlimited messaging for an entire family plan for as much as AT&T charges for a single line. FT messaging (all lines on a family plan get unlimited messaging) launched on T-Mobile in February 2006.

🙄 We know. They are t-mobile. It doesn't matter what VZW/Sprint/ATT announces, someone will always say "T-Mobile already does this cheaper!"

The fact remains.....they are still t-mobile. So who cares?

Yeah, that's why T-Mo has their 5t straight JD Power & Associates for "Most Satisfied Customers." 'Cause they're awful.

I'm not really interested in getting into "this vs. that rox or sux." There's a reason I don't comment here all that much -- because a "uh, you left out someone in your main article" comment immediately gets swamped with "my company rox, other companies suxor."

I think T-Mobile in So. Cal is pretty good.
I would have used it myself, however, corp discount brings my plan to the same rate as T-Mo's, and I have better coverage at my house.

With such a small network, no PTT option and no 3G, T-mobile will stay crippled until they can fix those issues.

Well... I'm no T-mobile fan... I have Cingular 🙂

They are actually going to be rolling out their 3G service within the next 1.5 years... I've heard...

Still... Cingular is best... kinda expensive... but you get what you pay for...

Cingular has no vision or innovation whatsoever, between 3G and buying out others networks instead of building there own i have no respect for them.

Ok, let's think about this. If there is a network, already built out, that you could buy, and get it hooked up faster and cheaper than building a new one, why the hell not? It's called business sense buddy. And what are you talking about no vision or innovation?

I guess things like rollover and video share are not innovative at all. And lets not forget who we are, AT&T. We made the first f***ing phone! What are you talking about not innovative?

I used to be with t-mobile but switched to cingular when I heard they're going to launch 3g, Now i have a Imate Jasjam which is quad band UMTS and triband umts and I'm happy!

When t-mobile launches their 3g i might switch back because their 900mhz frequency is better for internation triband phones which are 900,1800,1900

But what frequency is t-mobile going to use for their 3g? if its the same as the european one, kiss cingular good bye!
