Good Idea

Mr. Roboto

This sounds like a great idea, but I'm somewhat of a conspiracy theorist, when it comes to things like this. I just highly doubt it would make it to market.

This could be very good because if this technology ever makes it to market, if your phone's battery goes dead, all you have to do is leave your phone out in the sun (or on your dashboard while you're driving) for an hour or so, and your battery is charged.....great idea, right? Maybe not. This could also negatively effect Moto's extreme cost margins on car chargers and home chargers as well, if people don't need to charge their phones at home or in the car, just in the sun. I'm not saying that they're going to go bankrupt or anything because of this, but Moto needs to look at the big picture before they release this. Just a thought.

That's about the only application for that type of technology, or if you are lost in the woods and you have your trusty razr with you to help you cut fire wood but no signal and your battery dies then you could charge it but other than that I see this as pointless. My cell phone is always in my pocket and if it's not it's on a charger or on my desk, not in the sun. Not practical at all in my book.
