Kind of like the Yankees... of Wireless

It's funny how Verizon riders here talk about how at&t copies whatever Verizon does. I mean, did anyone else fail to realize that Verizon is now the 3rd company to follow at&t's lead with a 30 day trial period? I didn't, in fact, I laughed out loud when I read the article on this very site.

But really, Verizon is like the Yankees of wireless. They were once the monster that no one was able to conquer. Now, they are merely a shadow of their old selves since being overtaken by a younger, smarter, hipper company. The "new at&t" is really about to ring in a "new day" in the wireless industry.

Better coverage. Better plans & services. Better Phones. Overall, better experience. There is a good reason why more people choose at&t in Was/Bal o...

I think you need to do some research before you try blasting someone. at&t has a 30 day exchange/return period. Verizon Wireless has a 30 day trial period and if you do not keep the service, they pay for your voice service for the month. That means the customer doesn't pay for any voice access charges, voice overages, or activation- unlike the 30 day at&t/cingular/comcast/whatever the name is return period. It's a network trial, not just a phone exchange period.

If you're going to call someone out at as wrong, then tell them exactly what in their statement is indeed wrong.

But I'll spare you the effort of coming up with some stupid excuse... he's 100% correct. Do some research.

Verizon is far from being "slain" in case you have lived in a cave the past two weeks, VERIZON JUST OVERTOOK ATT FOR CUSTOMERS. So even after a merger to overtake verizon, att still couldn't keep up over time.

att cust service is pathetic, their phones are overrated, and their service and overall sound quality is ridiculous. Verizon overall is a much better company.

Here's a thought to chew on, just for fun. T-Mobile, all the companies laugh at them, but they have 160+ million world wide, and T-Mobile is 7 years old, and expanding in the US. Customer Service is the best, fewest dropped calls in Metropolitan areas, cheaper plans, nice phones (excluding a couple outdated ones), and for tho...

And here is where your ignorance shines through... VZW didn't just "copy" at&t with a 30 day trial, VZW one upped everyone else by offering a refund on all your calls.

Seriously, when you try to bash a company know what the hell you're talking about.

Okay,,, I'm back like cooked cr@ck ladies...

elgee,,, I conveniently left out the part about the refund intentionally. You didn't think I knew that? besides, everyone remembers who made the vaccum not who made the attachments.

I'm ready to smack all Verizon jerks right in the mouth, who want what?
