Verizon Unveils Unlimited Messaging Plan
but is it really unlimited?
no need to extend your contract for 2 years to get the unlimited txt. if you have less than year left then yes it will push it out 1 year from the date of the change.
whenever you extend your contract due to promotions and crap like that that WILL NOT change your phone upgrade date.
all of the new america's choice plans (last couple of years) have free roaming anywhere in US. so if your phone can pick up the signal you have free roaming.
also "allover (nowhere)" network claims are based on info from year 2005 WOW.
flame on
...WRONG, not this time.
all of the new america's choice plans (last couple of years) have free roaming anywhere in US. so if your phone can pick up the signal you have free roaming.
....Very WRONG, read your own fine print smart guy, why would Verizon call it "IN"...because you can be "OUT". All unlimited features DO NOT apply when roaming, mobile to mobile, etc...
Flame OUT!
2nd) No one said anything about features etc (but if you want to go into the detail we can). It was about roaming coverage and NO you can not get charged for roaming on America's Choice II plans anywhere in US. Once again pick up the signal get the free roaming.
Actually, that was exsactly what I was refering to in my first post, Features and unlimited mobile to mobile. Right it down next time if your short term memory fails you.
1st) 1 year contract trust me i know this better than you do.
Then Verizon should really think about firing some of their national trainers, because thats what they are teaching. Or, your wrong.
i don't see anything here do you?
You can change price plans and only extend your contract by a year, you just have to tell the associate on the phone that you want a one year contract extension.
So you're telling people that thier unlimited mobile to mobile applies still while roaming or in Analog???
Help me out here, how many phones in Verizons CURRENT line-up can still utilize analog? Good thing they always like to show the big red map that shows a TON of analog only coverage.
I can't wait for 08' when the truth comes out on national advetising when analog is removed. No more big red map! Why don't you do a side by side comparison of verizon's digital coverage against AT&T's....enough said.
I sell about a half a dozen tri-mode phones, and Verizon's website has a few more, but I have never in four years of sales had a digital-only phone be returned because a customer couldn't get reception where they needed.
And Verizon's unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling ALWAYS works, no matter where you are. Texting works as long as you can get a digital connection. Pix messaging won't work if your Verizon phone is connected to say a US Cellular or Alltel tower.
texts, pix, flix, & instant messages are unlimited anywhere in the u.s., to a u.s. number. sending a message to a canadian #, or sending one while roaming in canada, is not included. same goes for mexico.
ANYWHERE in the US where you get a signal, whether it's analog or roaming off another carrier you ALWAYS have unlimited IN... ALWAYS!!!!!
And for price plan changes ONLY A ONE YEAR AGREEMENT IS REQUIRED. And for people who are still in the first year of their agreement, obviously that one year agreement won't affect them.
Sorry dude, I know more about how VZW works then you do. Try again.

Now where are you getting this crap from? VZW's year over year churn is DOWN, and of all the carriers they have the highest JD Power Cust Satisfaction score. Seriously dude, stop making stuff up.
The information comes right from VZW themselves smartguy. They are a publically traded company which means all records are available to view. Just simply google Verizon quarterly earnings and you can see everything, matter of fact ou can do the same for any wireless company. You'd be surprised the information you can find, even the amount of digital towers operated by a specific company. (AT&T-47,000, sprint 22,000, etc...) April 28th most companies will announce thier 1st quarter earnings for 07'.
Oh...

Verizon Communications (the DSL/Landline company) owns 55% of Verizon Wireless, and Vodafone owns the other 45%.
And it is an UNDENYABLE FACT that Verizon Wireless' year over year churn is in fact DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN... there is no other possible way you can spin that dude. Give up now before you make yourself look more foolish.
MY FAMILY OWNS AND TRADES VERIZON STOCK!!!!!!amongst many, many others.
We own/operate a investment firm in Boston and New York, so please don't talk out your A$$!
And VZW churn rate is up!!!! Just do some research, PLEASE....2004 earnings statement vs. 2005 vs 2006, damn your dumb.
Let me try to explain this to you in simpler terms because you clearly are a moron....
Of course you can buy Verizon (notice there is no wireless) stock, Verizon COMMUNICATIONS is a publicly traded company so yes, that is the stock that you are referring to that your family owns.
Verizon WIRELESS is a PRIVATE company that is 55% owned by Verizon Wireless and 45% owned by Vodafone. PROVE ME WRONG I DARE YOU 🤣 🤣
And here is some PROOF about churn for you to chew on: Q42005 VZW churn 1.2%, Q42006 VZW chrun 1.1% that right there shows a DOWNWARD trend of chrun.
Please, I am begging you ...

BUT, you are dead wrong on Verizon wireless not being publically traded. And I won't even argue my point, so please just follow this link on YOUR companies bio and write back to appologize like a man like I did. I don't sell phones for a living, I trade your companies stock amongst many others, and have invested in a few small premier agents (for AT&T obviously)

This is too good, I love it!
Dude, it's what I have been trying to tell you all along. Verizon COMMUNICATIONS is the publicly traded company (stock ticker VZ) that you refer to. Notice how I stress the COMMUNICATIONS part, there is no WIRELESS in that name. Verizon COMMUN...

There is a very limited portion of the coverage map that is "analog only," but there is quite a bit of digital roaming.
If you are gonna bash big red, stop making stuff up.
Thirdly, read ANY of the new collateral. Nowhere in the new brochures, buckslips, store posters, website, etc... does it say anything even remotely close to "anywhere in the US..." What it does say, however, word for word is this...
"Unlimited messaging available only from within the National Enhanced Services Coverage Area, and not throughout the America's Choice Coverage Area."
If you work in a store, you should probably stand up and march right over to the calling plans walls and read this statement, written...

Again, personally, I think it's a great plan.
