Great, but is Verizon selling themselves short?

In talking with my customers who want unlimited texting, they are willing to pay considerably more than the $20 extra a month Verizon is currently asking. So I think they could be charging a lot more than what they are for unlimited texting...

The only catch is what the other guys are doing. I suppose in areas where Verizon has some more stiff competition (they're pretty much king here in South Dakota), $20 a month is about all they can get away with without people switching networks.

Still, if I were in charge of the pricing, I would have set it a bit higher.

Maybe in your area but there are other markets where people don't want to pay the $20 because of stiff competition. But WOW I think this is the first time I ever heard a customer ask why we don't want to charge them more.. 😁

Well I'm also a salesperson, and my customers have told me they would be willing to pay upwards of $40-50 for unlimited text. But I suppose in an urban market with more carriers, Verizon can't charge much more and stay competetive.
