No way! That is crazy. Go figure they would team up with Sprint cause KDDI has a close relationship with both Sprint and Sanyo and if any other carrier in the us is going to be using Sanyo phones it is going to be on powered by Sprint Nextel. Totally awesome. We all thought the announcement of Helio was amazing and they brought some pretty cool phones. Can you imagine KDDI? Maybe we will see those cool Sanyo phones that we all wish we could have. 🤤

im glad these mvno's like Hero and KDDI are comming to the united states, they are filling a void that these manufacturers left us with, crappy basic phones, if the mvno's start to see that more americans, especially younger americans(me 😁 ) buy more of these high-end phones we will start to get more cool phones like the europeans and asians get.

Agreed, I have longed for a number of phones only available in Japan (as well as other Asian markets). Hopefully, if this happens, and is successful, Sprint could incorporate some of those phones as well.

Yea, I agree and I think this is the first step to actually have great phones from Asia and Europe to this country. Finally, they are doing something like this. Perhaps other carriers will start to do the same.

So far KDDI Mobile (http://www.kddimobile.com) offers two cheap phones which are comparable to the garbage that Sprint offers. What's the point?

I really hope they'll introduce some high-end handsets once they have their service established here.

If this is them (www.kddimobile.com), then they're off to a bad start with those phones and those service options. They should take a look at HELIO to get off right before they start.

God. That's bad.

You know what .. two more points to Helio. Tom from MySpace hates Japan right now.
