This is the problem i run into every day, customer gets ut starcom phone when activating account because they are free, 2 months down the road the phone dosnt work anymore, they dont have insurance because there cheep, hence the phone. so dose the company buy the customer a brand new phone out of there own pocket? i get more issues with that phone than any other, its like clockwork. unless it belongs to a person who is 65+. its broken within 6 months.

I wish I had you as a sales rep. Why don't you tell them the phone is a pile of junk and explain to them why they either shouldn't buy it or they should get insurance. if you try you certainly aren't that good of a sales person.
And come on, dude: There cheep. How about they're (as in they are, it's a contraction) and cheap as in don't like to spend much money not like the sound a bird makes.
Dose I can understand. Just getting one finger down on the keyboard before the other.

all in all I have no experience with ut starcom so I can't say whether or not they stink up the place, but I wouldn't buy one (or get one for free) just based on their reputation.
