Eric are you saying this is a downgrade from the Razr 2 or the original razr? It looks like it blows the original out of the water, and has the same featureset as the razr 2.

I was kind of wondering that myself. The only thing really in common with the original RAZR is the chin/mic area. I thought this phone seemed pretty solid when I messed with it at Best Buy. The UI seems improved greatly.

Eric...how did you ever come up with a conclusion that this handset was a downgrade. That phone is in no way a down grade?? also im pretty sure that the phone is rev 0 not rev a....you might want to check on that. 😕

Yeah, I'm a little shocked myself. The phone has a better main screen, better camera and the 3.5 headset jack. The small screen from the razr has been replaced with a bigger, touch-sensitive screen on the outside.

Not sure where he gets that this is a downgrade. Maybe because it's going to have a lower price? Thats the only way i can see it being a downgrade, i guess...

🤣
This was the first thing I thought when watching this review, downgrade?!?!, how could this possibly be a downgrade? At first look, the VE20 does not lock up or process the applications as slowly as the RAZR, it has the upgraded touchscreen external display that was on the v9m (RAZR 2) and all of the same features with an upgraded OS for half the price! Wow, what a review...

Matt.
Played with one tonight at the Sprint Store in the Ocean County Mall, seemed solid, nice screen and thicker then a Razr, price seemed fair as well. If this is a downgrade, I don't know what an upgrade is?
