NEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 😲 Anybody out there agree it would be a huge mistake to sell to Motorola?

why? it probably be the best company to take them over. the product would survive. there are other good companies, htc, msft

Thats just it the product wouldn't survive, because Motorola are sell outs they'll simply try to revamp it and make some fashion statement out of it, which will result in them dumbing down the processor. They would HELLO MOTO the *#&% out of it and never even think twice about staying true to Palm.

The sad fact is Palm self destructed itself, it sold off it's OS, and those who took it over never done anything with it. I do admit they did a decent job with WM 5.0 on the 750. I don't know who should have them, hopefully some company or equity group with deep pockets and a commitment. I can't see Nokia unless they commit to WM along with Symbian. I can't see RIM, they are to involved with their Blackberry system. So who else? Sony Ericsson, well maybe them, but they are also interested in eye candy and not sure where they truly stand on smartphones. Could be a nice fit. HTC who already makes most of Palm's Treo's might be the answer.
