My NE2 was up Dec3 but I waited for this.

In late Dec my LG8100 charger plug broke and I was forced to use my old Audiovox but I waited for this.

For the past 90 days I havent been able to take a pic, send a pix or flix message or receive them but I waited for this.

I live in the 5th largest city in the nation so it seemed like a no brainer that Phoenix would be on the rollout so I waited for this.

Verizon you have let me down. ☹️

They have to wait until the specturm is cleared as this is run on a SEPERATE network. It is run a network by Qualcomm. Alot of specturm won't be cleared in the bigger cities until we near the 2009 digital TV deadline. As you may or may not have heard, by 2009 all tv must go digital.

Many are doing that much, much earlier, some are not.

I'm in Scottsdale and I know what you mean.

It amazes me sometimes that we get the shortstick so often.

BTW, Maricopa county is now #4, not #5. We surpassed Philadelphia last year... We aren't too far away from Houston either at #...

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me either, especially when Colorado Springs is on the launch. They only have about 300k-500k in pops, and a lot of that is military (shriever afb, peterson afb, air force academy, fort carson, and cheyenne mountain are all near there within 10 miles) and military people move around, and most likely won't care if their phone can get tv.
I live in Denver now, but used to live in Phoenix. Verizon just missed that one i guess.

btw how is this ranked for phoenix being the fifth largest?

New york is #1, LA - 2, chicago 3, detroit - 4, and then phoenix? what about philly, dallas, miami, denver, san fran, san diego, etc.
I just didn't think that phoenix was that high up on the list.

does anyone have a ranki...

Ok guys, chillax. I been told the reason Phoenix isn't up and running with MediaFlo is because the Phoenix metro area covers A LOT of square miles and has a few obstacles to deal with. Think about it, it isn't easy wiring up an area from Queen Creek to Surprise, from Buckeye to Apache Junction. Plus there are also things to work around like Camelback and Squaw peak, as well as South Mountain too.

But yes, I do still share your disappointment.
