It's all Samsung! If you have browsed these boards much the last 1-2 years, you would have seen all the posts about how Samsung is famous for the "drop a feature, add a feature" thing.

It kind of is T-Mobile's fault though! I recently quit my job working for corporate T-Mobile and honestly these guys have no interest in carrying "cool, cutting-edge phones" they just want stuff thats cheap, basic, and functional.
For some reason they think that we, as customers, don't care that our phones aren't nearly as cool as the phones offered by competitors. They're focused on the low-mid range phones while Cingular and the others have a wide variety of high-end devices to offer. T-Mobile is counting on the fact that their prices and value will win people over, not their phones.
So all you loyal T-Mobile customers (myself included) may just have to live with the fact that T-Mobile may never have the coolest phones, but they are...

Samsung's Trace, T629 & T719 ain't bad. Blackberry Pearl is pretty sweet and the sidekick III (with all its problems) ain't all bad either. So, I don't get it?? It's not like they've got rageddy Pantech's or crap like that!

Yeah, I love unlocked phones! I've got a Moto A780 and it is sweet......baby reads me my text messages! LOL

Yeah, T-Mob isn't high end, I guess that's where Amp'd/Helio step up.

And unlocked phones aren't a fair comparison! America is knowingly 2-3 years behind the world market, the imported phones will always blow our phones away!
