hmmm, just a thought
I think you guys are missing the point it is not just t-mobile, or just samsung. Take a look at Moto, it started out with the razr, and then they decided hmm lets make it so it is not as wide and call it a krzr k1m, or how about we cut just a little bit more off of it and just call it the krzr k1 and drop off the m. Oh I got a really good one, how about we make it so it slides and call it the rizr, and now lets not forget about the razr v3r, v3m, v3i, and the newest v3xx, and all the major companies have at least two of those or like at&t who has 5.

Absolutely true. Lots of manufacturers -- I dare say all manufacturers -- recycle phone models and operating systems. Moto with the RAZR to PEBL to KRZR...and so on...If we, as consumers, want more product differentiation then we should quit buying these recycled products.
The black RAZR is no cooler than the silver or the red or the blue...So instead of continually buying these different color clones and slightly modified versions of the same old stuff we can hold out and spend our money on something truly unique.
