Covert Upgrades

Verizon's quite the sneak in network upgrades. They've obviously been working on Rev-A for a while before they announced it.

Verizon Wireless moves 30ft, attacks the market. Market is flat footed. Verizon Wireless gets a sneak attack. +4d6 damage!

Well heck, I wouldn't say I'm a "nerd" definetly a "Gadget Geek" that's why I visit sites such as PhoneScoop, Slashphone, MobileTechNews, and whatever other sites.

Definetly not a nerd, at least not me, just somebody who is a really big fan of all things mobile!!!

does what other international carriers are doing and starts allowing a certain number of video call minutes per month (Say 30 a month) with their plans now that the higher upload speeds make it possible.

Carriers in Australia the UK Japan and elsewhre already have this service available but no US carrier does and they should. It's much nicer to be able to see the person you're talking to even if it's only a little while a month 🙂.

I look forward to the day when the US is like other countries and data dominates the revenue not voice. It's becoming more that way every day and video calls and messaging is one step in that direction 🙂

That's one thing I've always liked about Verizon's approach to network upgrades and maintenance: they do it behind the scenes with no hoopla. Things just get done.

It's reassuring.
