They are fantastic device for hearing impaired and sells very well among the high school and college crowd. I can't say that I personally would ever buy a sidekick considering their minimal updates since the first, but they are a generally good device for what people need. And in reply to the other post, a lot of people have "sidekickish" phones anyway, many other carriers offer different brands that are close in nature too.
