Side kick

I am amazed that T mobile still messes with this garbage. I guess people must still buy this but the question is why?

I never see anyone use one anymore and I travel more than I like, my 12 year old daughter told me no one in school uses it so who buys it?

Yet, T mobile has a whole row in their inventory???

Maybe there is a big demand for it in "Rooster Poop Ark".

I work at a kiosk. Lots of people that walk by use some version of the sidekick. LOTS. Your claim about what your daughter observed isnt reconciled with reality. Kids tend to flip out over the sidekick daily so I'm not going to take your claim about your daughter seriously. Typically it is people 25 and younger but I have sold it to a few older users before (mostly house wives).

I am a sales rep as well for ATT and a current t-mobile customer (dont tell anyone). As far as the sidekick goes its still as popular as ever. Kids love this phone and its easy to see why. Its perfect for texting and not geared so much towards internet and email like smartphones and PDAs. Plus, 20 bucks for unlimited internet and texting is an unmatched price and a great deal. For anyone who calls it garbage is garbage... eat poop and die! I get customers all the effin time asking for this phone most carriers dont carry full keyboard phones that do not require some type of data plan to get it for a decent price. so youre pretty retarded for insulting the phone.

Yeah the plan is pretty unbeatable esp compared to att. 20 for unl text/internet/pop 3 email/ plus it works with myspace and no problems with the instant messaging services. Also you can get a standalone plan for 30 a month and .40 cents any minutes you talk.

I am not going to stake any claim to what your daughter states either, maybe not in "snozberry, ny" where everyone and their dog uses an iphone, but everywhere else I have been and seen people use them all the time. They are fantastic device for hearing impaired and sells very well among the high school and college crowd. I can't say that I personally would ever buy a sidekick considering their minimal updates since the first, but they are a generally good device for what people need. And in reply to the other post, a lot of people have "sidekickish" phones anyway, many other carriers offer different brands that are close in nature too.
