Is WM6 really an upgrade?

Right now the details on Windows Mobile 6 won't be fully revealed until a few days from now so my opinion here is only as good as the information I've uncovered. so far.
I can't help but feel that this will only be an incremental upgrade and should have been dubbed, Windows Mobile 5SE. It sure does not sound like a full upgrade version and WM5 has only been out for a somewhat short time now.
More of a marketing ploy by renaming the 3 versions than a real upgrade. After reviewing an article on CNET http://crave.cnet.com/8301-1_105-9685249-1.ht ml?tag=cnetfd.mt
The descriptions and screen shots don't show much
that we don't have now in version 5 except for this new Windows Live and the ability to direct dial a number from the Today screen ...

You are 100% correct. This is not a full version upgrade, it is mostly an "under the hood" update to WM5 with some eye candy. Why they chose to call it WM6, I am not sure, probably for marketing reasons. The next Windows Mobile will be call photon, it will be a true full version update not just an upgrade with some glitter and bug fixes.
