I couldn't help but notice that this looks like a phone and not a pda. Maybe this is a sign that VZW is FINALLY going to start phasing out their UI on higher end models so their more demanding customers can actually get some features on their $400 devices.

looks like they still have crippled the bluetooth somewhat, otherwise I hope you're right.

No, this is a smartphone, thas why it doesnt have the Verizon UI.

They are never going to get rid of their own UI. They are just going to try to make it look better with Flash Lite themes... Sorry to burst yer bubble though.
