Also, majority of Instinct purchases were activated in less than 10 minutes, whereas iPhones took more than 4 hrs!
Personally, I've never understood Apple fans. One guy told me that he wanted the iPhone bc Apple was opening their software up to 3rd party developers. WOW! How utterly fantastic! Of course, HTC and Palm have been doing that for years!
Apple is one of the most proprietary companies in existence. How Microsoft got targeted for unfair trade practices, when Apple is a thousand times worse, is beyond me.
Enjoy your iPhones for the first 6 months. Then, when your battery life suddenly drops to half what it used to be (like with the original model, and iPods) enjoy paying $80 and waiting a week or two without your phone, while Apple replaces the battery for you. Personally, I'll just continue to keep my 2nd battery for my Instinct charged, in the event I need to replace it sometime during the day. So far, though, it hasn't been a problem. No matter how much surfing, talking, texting, or music playing I do, my battery is still got plenty of juice when I plug it in before bed!
