This is another joke by cingular,ptt seems useless. i rather pay for one days worth of use not per min.

Well anything to get the potential ARPU up, but yeah, who actually benefits from PTT except very few businesses?

just another way to screw people out of their money by hitting a button and it actually doing something when they expect it not to...

Well, as the article mentioned, you would have to go to a store or contact Cingular to have it added so if you push the button to use it, you added it yourself so you are at fault.

also most phones w/ the ptt function have external keylock, it is the customer's fault for failing to read the manual

Answer: Nobody.

The only people that really USE PTT are people who NEED it in every day life (construction, building, security, police, fire, etc...).

If you're going to use this on a per minute basis, chances are VERY good you don't need it at all.

For small businesses like mine, it is extremely helpful. We don't use PTT for normal calls but when on a job site, we do like to use it for certain functions but we don't need it all of the time. I say shut up to all of you chronic complainers and just let the people de...

Am I really the only person who sees this pay-per-use setup as an excellent way of giving interested parties a taste of the benefits of PTT without roping them into some kind of commitment?
