This Sidekick isnt for T-Mobile. it is a GSM Hiptop for the other minor GSM markets, and perhaps AT&T.

It will not have a full browser, just a WAP browser. This is so Danger will not need to provide backend support to the carrier. The unit will also not sync with the Danger servers also. The only thing that will be provided are the core applications and whatever is available in the Download catalog.

Or maybe not. 😁

Nope, you do not know what you are talking about. T-mobile has already updated their employees when this device will be ready for launch and that we will be carrying it. Oh, and it is "exclusive" to T-mobile.

And how would you know? Why would tmoile need to update their employees on a device that has less functionality than the one they were trained on 6 months ago?

That makes no sense. I dont doubt tmo will have this, but there is no point in having a device you can get for $99 on special from Amazon.com amount others, for a phone that does less for the same amount, at best.

Provide some proof with your statements.

You're 100% correct! I guess having a new sidekick that can actually use myfaves means nothing to a company that is pushing that direction. I feel sorry for those people who work in areas where camera's aren't permitted and actually want a sidekick. I guess there are no kids or business users out there who don't need mp3s, or deff people who don't need the bluetooth. Sorry I even questioned your knowledge. I guess every phone manufactured MUST have mp3 player/bluetooth with a mp camera for it to be used. Let's just say people who actually work for T-mobile know more than you think about the devices they will be selling.

remember when that plan was leaked before the SK3 came out and it said 6-8 months after that the sidekick NQ (or something) would come out which would be very thin and stripped on features... Sounds legit to me.

Danger has made it very clear to TMO that they will have multiple devices out by the end of the year. they want to have multiple devices for customers to choose from. So like has been said sounds legit to me.

danger will also be allowing the sk3 to update with myfaves, soon. ota dl

What is your proof that it's NOT for T-Mob? Geez, we're talking about a rumor, lets not get all butthurt here. Unless you work at Danger and have seen the dry ink on the contract with whatever company will carry this, I don't want to hear it...

This phone is for t-mobile, enough with the speculation that other companies are getting this new sidekick coming out. In the future other companies might get a device from danger but just not this one

I think the rumor was that the same person who DESIGNED the SideKick designed the Helio KickFlip, which I believe is true.

This phone is being striped down because by taking out the camera, MP3 function/memory card slot it will be able to make the sidekick more thin. The snap snots taken of the Sidekick Stratgy poster are also all acurate. Basically there WILL be a new sidekick with stripped down features meaning there will be no more camera which is low quality anyway there will be no bluetooth which is already weak and hard to use there will be no more MP3 player which is ok because it is not like itunes. So by taking out the features they may just make the phone better by making it cheaper. To see snap shots of the Sidekick poster go to sidekickrazr.com

PS It most probably will come out with TMOBILE.
