AT&T Combines Wireless, Wireline In-Network Calling

Keep on e thing in mind before you jump to conclusions...

While this may not be a great feature for customers who are not in an at&t/Bellsouth dominated landline market, for those of us that are...this may be better than it appears.

Consider not just calls that you make to your friends on their cell phones or calls you make to your home....also, take into account that most businesses with a landline in those same areas have no choice but to have service through at&t/Bellsouth and thus, your business and personal calls to pretty much ANYONE in an at&t/Bellsouth area will be FREE.

For those who aren't in the at&t/Bellsouth footprint, you don't have to change anything....keep your rollover. All this is is another option being offered to consumers by their carrier and I don't think that's a ba...

Finally someone remembered that BUSINESS lines count towards this too! This plan can do a ton for Cingular/ATT to pick up business customers. Many companies will have ATT lines now and get their cell service and not have to worry about minutes to and from the office as well as only one bill. ATT won again.
