AT&T To Begin Un-branding Cingular Monday

The Commission will still suck for cingular employees, the only thing that will change is that Cingular reps will have to sell land line services. What a complete waste of money marketing and re branding all those legacy At&t wireless stores. From the start legacy at&t customers were forced to switch to cingular reason being, if your phone broke or wanted to upgrade your phone you were not given a choice you were forced to buy a Cingular headset. I remember when we originally merged Cingular sent out unlocked headsets to all stores later only to recall them and send locked cingular headsets.

For all those customers who still have legacy At&T headsets and plans you can use your insurance, they will have to replace your phone with a unlocked phone.
