The unionized Cingular employees are members of the CWA (communications workers of America), the very same union Verizon (landline) employees are a part of.

Also, the CWA is a non-strike union.

And 3rd, the members pay union fees. The union has nothing to do with the customer. Period. Being unionized has zero effect on prices or customer experience.
