AT&T To Begin Un-branding Cingular Monday
Any word on whether there will still be rollover minutes??
Suppose you have a VERIZON plan for 1K or even something smaller...lets say 700 minutes and god forbid there was a family emergency or you were out of town or what have you or whatever the case may be...picking on Verizon bc they dont have it here.
Alright so you happen to go over your minute usage and Verizon charges you say what $230 phone bill for that month...well sure they can fix it if you change your plan higher and sign another 2 year agreement or you get stuck with the bill...its that simple and yes it happened to me. I can now be on a shared 550 plan with Cingy/ATT and actually use my phone without going over bc I have 3k already rolled over...long story as to w...

The truth of the matter is that there are millions of customers who value the Rollover feature highly (myself being one of them) and find it to be the farthest thing from a "scam." You can certainly be on the "right" plan and still utilize Rollover. I can tell you right now, I'm not one to use exactly 850 anytime minutes each month. Sometimes I use more, sometimes I use less. It's those times when I use more that I'm grateful I have Rollover.
If it were truly a scam, the feature would not be in such high demand that Cingular has not decided to drop it in the seven years of its existence.
It was either six or five years...Rollover was introduced fairly soon after Cingular was formed.
Any way you look at it, it's stood the test of time (in the wireless industry).
