Oh, but it is that serious, being that i worked in a wireless store.. i can't count how many people thought they were cingular customers just because the name was on the screen of their phone, but they still had AT&T logos on the phone, SIM card, and had AT&T plans, and sometimes TDMA phones...
These customers get confused when you tell them they are still AT&T wireless blue side customers... and that they must change to the orange side with new phones, sim cards, and plans...
Now when the names is changed ...

It's true that it's not complicated, but I think you're missing the point of what SkillciaX is saying.
Whether it's complicated or not doesn't matter as much as the customer's perception does. This can be the most simple thing in the world but if customers *think* and *feel* like they might be taken for a ride or something, then there's the possibility that they'll take their business elsewhere, or perhaps badmouth the company to their friends.
