Have you read up on it at all? It's going to be a lot more than that. Look up the info that's plastered all over the internet about it.

and even if it does come with software that allows you to speak what you want it to write or use a stylus to write what u want inputted its still something else you have to run to allow it to send an email or a simple sms...

The phone hasn't even be released. You don't know all these sorts of details yet. Besides, what do Windows Mobile smartphones run on to accomplish these same tasks?

my treo is great for sms, pictures, email, phone, memos, notes, MP3's... everythign..

That's great. You know what? So does my Motorola Ming.

You know what else? I also carry around a separate mp3 player. Why? Because a phone with a 1-gig or 2-gig microSD card just doesn't cut it for me. It's not enough.

I paid over $400 for my phone, and $200 for my mp3 player. Those are two separate devices taking up space in my bag. For nearly the same money, I can get a single device that does the work of both, and will go one step further by accomplishing those tasks in an innovative way that we've not seen on other phones to date.

With all of that, how can anyone blame people for being excited about this phone? If you're not excited about it, I get it, and it's cool. No need to be a tool and start spouting off about how dumb they are, though.
